You know how librarians are always on the leading edge of societal change, right? ‎ Standing up for privacy rights and providing information and library services to everyone who asks and shows up is what librarians 'are' not just what they 'do'.

Ever sensitive to library users' needs, one of the participants in our Webinar yesterday asked how we ‎approach the issue of gender neutral bathrooms/ washrooms (restrooms if you are in the USofA!). We gave our answer along these lines:
